7th Antalya Cup Ended with Enthusiastic Celebrations
The 7th Antalya Cup International Youth Football Tournament, one of Turkey's largest international football tournaments held in Antalya between 1-5 May 2024, ended after breathtaking battles. 37 teams of 22 clubs from 8 countries participated in the tournament, where young football players fought fiercely and gave an unforgettable football feast.
Teams from Morocco, Georgia, Iran, Mongolia, Romania, Russia, Tunisia, Morocco, Georgia, Iran, Mongolia, Romania, Russia, Tunisia and Turkey played in U10, U11, U12, U13 and U15 categories. In the tournament where 448 goals were scored in 98 football matches, fair-play and friendship were also at the forefront.
Exciting Finals and Award Ceremony:
The finals played on the last day of the tournament witnessed breathtaking battles. Manavgat FA in U10 category, ZMG Academy (Iran) in U11, Gölcük Asarköy (Turkey) in U12, Beşiktaş (Turkey) in U13 and Dinamo Batumi (Georgia) in U15 lifted the championship cups.
At the ceremony where all the ranked teams received their trophies, medals were given to all participants and the ceremony ended with enthusiastic celebrations accompanied by band, music and anthems.
About the Tournament:
The 7th Antalya Cup International Youth Football Tournament, a joint organization of DMD Tourism and By Demir Sports, offered young football players the opportunity to showcase their talents on an international platform. The tournament also provided an opportunity for young people from different countries to come together, make friends and share their love for football.
